I'm getting letters from the IRS and I have no idea what they mean or how to react, can you help?

The IRS is NOT as powerful as they would like you to think. Many initial notices such as the CP515 or CP518 are computer-generated soft letters designed to encourage voluntary compliance through fear. However, specific legal notices like the Notice of Deficiency or the Final Notice of Intent to Levy require a response. Call us at (813) 444-4800 if you ever get those letters.

What about State Income Taxes?

This all depends on your state. Some states have no state income tax at all, some states income tax laws piggy-back on the federal laws, while other states have income tax forms and laws independent of the federal government. So far, only a few states absolutely require state income taxes: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Alabama, and Mississippi. Even if you must pay state income tax, this does NOT mean you have to pay federal income tax.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 1976 that the American people have no expectation of financial privacy when using banks and bank instruments to conduct financial affairs. Freedom Law School accepts cash and cryptocurrency to protect the financial privacy of its members.

Is mailing cash safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, by sending your contribution through the U.S. Mail (USPS), not through private couriers such as FedEx or UPS. Tampering with U.S. Mail is a federal criminal offense, offering a much higher level of protection. Freedom Law School has relied on USPS for over 20 years and guarantees packages that are sent following their specific mailing instructions.

How about the 87,000 new IRS Agents to be hired?

The IRS hiring 87,000 new agents is not a threat to those who follow Freedom Law School's methods. The IRS can only legally act within its jurisdictional limits. FLS members who follow proper procedures have nothing to fear from IRS expansion.

Why did Wesley Snipes go to prison for tax crimes?

Wesley Snipes relied on Patriot Mythology, not Freedom Law School's advice. He relied on the false advice of Eddie Kahn and mailed in a fraudulent receipt to the IRS expecting a refund. Freedom Law School's approach is legally sound and has never resulted in prison for any member who followed our methods correctly.
